Welcome. The Salgari family: wine, history and tradition in Valpolicella since 1840.
The Salgari family’s winemaking tradition dates back to 1840, when Luigi Antonio built the manor house with its underground cellar and named it “Cà Salgari”. The vineyards are carefully tended and Valpolicella wines produced with meticulous attention, in keeping with long-established family traditions, now carried forward by the Salgari brothers Giovanni, Luigi and Roberto.
Cà Salgari, with its historic rural courtyard framed by centuries-old cypress trees, lies in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico area, in the Negrar di Valpolicella valley. Here, a deep respect for the past sits comfortably alongside modern technology, giving life to the Salgari wines.
